Walk-a-thon benefits American Cancer Society

   UAM College of Technology-McGehee American Cancer Relay for Life Team held a walk-a-thon fundraiser on Friday March 11.

   Over 27 staff and students walked for two hours for donations and pledges. The participants raised approximately $1,000. The money raised will go to the May 26 Desha County Relay for Life to be held on the McGehee High School grounds.
