Cara Crossett Assistant Copy Editor Greeks filled the volleyball courts Monday during Greek Week for an old-fashioned horseshoe contest. Kappa Alpha Order fraternity took first place while Phi Lambda Chi came in second. Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta came together as a team and received first place out of the sororities, while Alpha Sigma Tau came in second place. Next the Greeks challenged each other in a tug-of-war contest. Tau Kappa Epsilon managed to take out all the fraternities and win first place, while Sigma Tau Gamma received a close second. Alpha Sigma Tau brought down the sororities and took home first place, while Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta came in second place.

Greeks started out Tuesday with a Songfest.
Each sorority performed a skit or song competing
against each other. Alpha Sigma Alpha received
first place while Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi
Beta came in second place.
During the volleyball
competition, Alpha Sigma Alpha came in first
place while Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta
came in second.
The Greek men competed in basketball Tuesday and
Kappa Alpha Psi came in first place. Phi Beta
Sigma came in second.
The flag football winners Wednesday included the
Q-Dogs in first place and Kappa Alpha Psi in
second place. In the Greek women competition
Alpha Sigma Alpha took first place and Sigma
Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta took second place.
The step show took place Thursday. The winner
included in first place the Q-Dogs and in second
place Kappa Alpha Psi.
The overall Greek Week winners included Kappa Alpha Psi and Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta. The winners will receive their awards Wednesday, March 30, at the Greek Week dinner in the Gibson University Center Capitol Room at 6:30 p.m.
