Ashley Collins Staff Writer Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority held a interest meeting March 1 in Willard Hall. The interested parties are hoping to form this new sorority. Vera Lang, a professor in the school of Education, is AKA alumnae. Lang said those wishing to join the interest group must be a second-semester freshman with a 2.5 GPA, and they must send a letter to the regional office.
"I feel like it
was a good meeting and it was helpful because it Dr. Lang told us what we need
to do to get AKA on campus," Vicky Brown said.
