Registrar Debbie Bryant said she expects the summer I, summer II and fall semester schedules to be listed on the Web on or before March 28.

In addition to class schedules, students can also access tuition costs, fees, calendar of events and exam schedules. Exams for the spring semester will be May 5 through May 11.

Pre-registration for the summer and fall semesters will be April 4 through April 15. During this two-week period students may visit with their adviser, who can enter their classes for them and finalize their schedules, and they can start to class. The summer I session begins May 31, the summer II session begins July 5 and the fall semester will begin Aug. 24.

Open registration is offered at the beginning of each term. On the first day of class, an adviser or unit-head can register for the students. Another great tool the students have available to them is online registration, which is offered during pre-registration to selected students.

The Registrar’s office is responsible for mailing out grades and diplomas, and provides records and transcripts. The staff handles non-credit courses for three other campuses:  Crossett, McGehee and Dermott.  They are committed to helping students whenever possible and will be happy to direct them where they need to go for any additional information.

"We have a wonderful student body here at UAM and we are blessed with the faculty and staff that we have to work with,” Bryant said. “We had a record enrollment in the fall 2004 of 2,875 students and 2,718 in the spring 2005, with no increase in staff.  People in this office do their jobs efficiently.”

Additionally, the Registrar’s office is responsible for keeping institutional data and reporting the information to the Arkansas Department of Education and the U.S. Government.

Other staff members include Assistant Registrar Mackie Lowery, Registrar's Assistant Hagit Fendley, Records Assistant Christine Bryant, Graduate Coordinator Carol Dolberry and four additional student workers.

The Registrar’s office is located on the first floor of Harris Hall. For further information please feel free to call 460-1034.
