The Rodeo Team at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) is a member of the Ozark Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). The University provides scholarships and support to competitions. Coach Jolyn Wells is dedicated to helping rodeo athletes excel both academically and athletically.
Rodeo facilities:
located on the back of the UAM campus.

33 stalls and turn out pens
lighted 160 x 210 arena
access to a covered arena 2 miles from campus
Practice:
Monday - Thursday all timed events, rough stock practice as needed
Scheduled and supervised by Coach Wells
stock - sufficient amount of stock each semester based on number of team members
Travel Money:
Each team member receives a small amount of travel money to each rodeo excluding home rodeo
Incentive travel money given to team members that qualify for short go at the previous rodeo
