Our Constitution

We, the original thinkers and doers of the Creative Society, at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, hold as our goal the promotion and support of originality in idea and deed on the University of Arkansas campus and in our Monticello community.
Creativity is a way of life open to anyone who inquires beyond dogmatic thought and energy to travel past tried and true acts to the multiple possibilities of creative thought and action.
Our membership is not exclusive. (Whoever wants to join us may join, if they have at least a 2.0 GPA.)
We will meet as often as a member or faculty sponsor calls us together.
We shall have no officers. Leadership occurs when one of our members has an idea that needs implementation. The member with the most knowledge, skill, time, and/or motivation will volunteer as choragus for that project. (Choragus, in ancient Greece, was the leader of the chorus in dramatic productions and is pronouced like "courageous.") They must motivate and inspire others to assist them.
