CHAMPS/Life Skills Program
CH
allenging Athletes' Minds for Personal Success

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is committed to support our student-athletes as they strive to achieve their maximum personal, athletic, and academic potential.  Our university administration, faculty, professional and athletic staff is excited about the opportunity to expand our existing programs and campus initiatives to more effectively meet the unique needs of our student-athletes through the direction and resources provided by the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program.

One of the greatest needs of our student-athletes is accepting individual responsibility for their academic and personal success.   The CHAMPS/Life Skills Program will assist us in providing strategies to better enable our student-athletes to persist toward the completion of their academic degree.  Our desire is to produce student-athletes who are as confident, responsible and dedicated in the classroom as they are on the athletic field.  We are convinced that by implementing this program our student-athletes will become more successful and contributing members of the university community.  Our goal is to not only cultivate student-athletes but to also utilize their leadership and influence to positively impact the entire student population.
