Insights of the Thalidomide
Mechanism towards the Angiogenic
Pathway
Abstract.
Thalidomide has reemerged as a
novel therapy that is both anti-angiogenic
and immunomodulative. Although
thoroughly researched under
clinical conditions, its
mechanism of action is still
unknown. This work seeks to
understand the biological
mechanism of thalidomide and its
derivatives towards the
angiogenic pathway.
