Chemistry  >>>

The chemistry program at UAM includes 3 full-time faculty members, 1 faculty member shared with biology, and 1 full time laboratory director. A major and a minor in chemistry are available. In addition, a pre-pharmacy program is administered and advised by the chemistry faculty. The program has modern chemistry laboratory equipment available for student use including NMR, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, GC, and HPLC. A modest amount of student research is also supervised by the faculty.
