Microsoft Campus Agreement Information
For UAM Licensed Faculty/Staff Home Use

The Information Technology Department is pleased to offer Microsoft products to UAM Faculty and Staff under the terms of our Microsoft Campus Agreement.  This gives licensed UAM Faculty and Staff the option to load one copy of the software on home machines for school-related activities.

The following Microsoft Products are available under this agreement. We have included the minimum system requirements along with our recommended requirements. All products will require a VGA monitor and a CD drive for installation.

Microsoft Office Suite and Development Software

Office Professional (2003 or 2007)

Front Page 2003

Visual Studio .Net (2003 or 2005)

Corel WordPerfect (9 or 10)

Operating System Upgrades

The following Operating System upgrade is available to Faculty and Staff.

Microsoft Windows XP

Microsoft Windows Vista

Information Technology will make available to licensed faculty and staff the installation disks and installation code. The disks may be checked out for a period of 3 days for installation purposes. Individuals will be responsible for lost, damaged, or unreturned disks resulting in a minimum charge of $50.00. *Removal of all software and operating systems is required upon termination.*

All software installations will have to be done by the users themselves. Use and installation of these programs is at the user’s own risk. Information Technology will not be available to help in the installation or make “house calls” for recovery of system crashes because of the installation. It is suggested that you backup all current data, then run Scandisk, Defrag, and check available space on the hard drive before starting the installation. If you have any questions about what to do and which programs you should install, contact the Information Technology Department at 460-1036.
