MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team suffered a three-game sweep to the Lady Reddies of Henderson State in Gulf South Conference action at home.
 
Final game scores were 16-25, 24-26 and 23-25, moving UAM to 16-14 overall and 2-5 in the GSC. Henderson State improved to 4-20 and 2-6 with the win.
 
Junior Nicole Ferguson (Brentwood, Tenn.) led the Blossoms with 11 kills after racking up a .429 hitting percentage, committing only two errors on 21 attempts.
 
Teammate Jalynn Thornton (Pleasant Grove, Utah) followed closely with 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage, only committing two errors on 20 attempts.
 
HSU’s Quen Banks led the match with 18 kills.
 
UAM continues GSC play on Thursday, October 23 in Arkadelphia, Ark. for a 7 p.m. match against Ouachita Baptist.
