Ms. Shepherd’s interest are analyzing Japanese grammar, synchronizing the Japanese and American Cultures, the Heian period of literature and culture, Genji Mongutari, Samurai history, Japanese cooking, and also Japanese music and animation. Ms. Shepherd has lived most of her life in Japan. She moved to the United States in 2003. She has also lived in Georgia, France and London. At an early age Ms. Shepherd became interested in the English language. Her parents taught her to learn at every turn and to experience all you could from life. Ms. Shepherd is also knowledgeable in French and Italian.
