Scott Lykens
(M.F.A,
Kent State University of Ohio) Assistant Professor of Art.
His ceramic work focuses on expanding the boundaries of traditional
majolica. Scott’s work has been selected for over sixty national juried,
invitational and solo exhibitions. His work has been published in 500
Bowls and 500 Teapots (Lark) and Tile By Hand (Krause). Other awards
include funded residencies at: Haystack Mountain School of Crafts,
Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts, and Millersville University of
Pennsylvania, and a Artist Project Assistant Grant from the
Winston-Salem Forsyth County Arts Council.
