The University of
Arkansas Southeast Research and Extension Center
(SEREC) is housed with the School of Agriculture at UAM.
SEREC faculty teach UAM courses in their area of expertise along
with conducting research and extension activities.
Undergraduate students in the UAM School of Agriculture are
exposed to the cutting edge experience of a larger
research-oriented university, but with a smaller and more
personal teaching-oriented atmosphere. Faculty of SEREC
are headquartered in the Agriculture Building on the UAM Campus
in Monticello with the majority of the research conducted at the
Rohwer location.
