The Council approved the 12-06-05 minutes.

 

The Council discussed the need to create opportunities= for graduate students as graduate assistants.&= nbsp; The Council discussed the Memorandum of Understanding between UALR a= nd UAM concerning graduate assistantships.

 

The Council discussed and revised the proposed academi= c appeal process for graduate students.

 

The Council discussed and revised the proposed UAM Gra= duate Council Policies and Operating Procedures.=   The proposal will be placed on the agenda for approval at the next schedule meetings.

 

The Council reviewed and made corrections to the Gradu= ate Faculty list.  Mr. Ray advised Council members to review the list with their academic unit head.  Unit heads wishing to remove facul= ty from the list should contact the Provost.&= nbsp; Mr. Ray noted that procedures and forms for nominating faculty were located on the Academic Affairs webpage.&nb= sp;            =                    &= nbsp;  

 

The Council adjourned at 4:30.
